Is a 5 gallon tank big enough to hold swordtail fry? :/ i was just wondering cause i was thinking about breeding my swordtails

yea its the perfect size thats what i use, throw a sponge filter in there, and some plants. no gravel though. a cory is always good for a fry tank , he keeps it clean and wont go after the babies

also when the fry fall to the bottom of te tank, if there was gravel there they would hurt themselves tryin to jam themselves in there

hey i have a question how does no gravel help the fish grow faster. my fish seem to grow just fine with gravel

Three years ago I bred guppies on a large scale for our LFS. I would have to disagree about the cory cats, I did see them eat some fry. So I don't know if I would trust cory cats with very small fry.

many people say that corys are beneficial, they keep it clean. the only time that they would eat a fry is if it was dead or nearly dead
