hi i am getting my new tank soon and been looking at how to do a planted tank! do i really need to add co2?? if so what eould be your recommendations

thanks for that very informative! i guess i really want my plants to grow quickly and when they have reached the required heights etc can i then stop using the co2 or just inject it everynow and then? say every other month??
