30 Gallon

What kind of cichlids could I keep in a 30 gallon? I've never really kept cichlids (except angels) so I don't know what I'm doing

because there are so many we really need to know what kind of fish you like

eg:
colour
temperment
aggresive or calm
active ones
ones that hide
size
how many you would like to keep
do you want a pair
do you want to breed





tell us some of these and im sure we can narrow the search for you but just saying you want cichlids makes it a little hard so gives us some info and im sure people will help ya !

I'd reccommend a small Mbuna community. Yellow Labs and Iodotropheus Sperengerae (rustys) would work as they are less aggressive or perhaps Pseudotropheus Acei. If you picked 2 of these species, you could have 4 or 5 of each in a 30 gal.
