Hi, ive got 3 bettas that need to go. Very bad LFS advice for a newbie has left me with an injured guppy and i'm worried about the other fish that i want to put in. They are not very old - i dont know how old though - i've only had them a week or so. The male is blue, one of the females is also blue, and the other female is white with red fins (sorry i dont know the proper colour name). These must be collected as i cannot post because i dont know how and do not wish to risk it. I am desperatley trying to source a home so please pm me if you would like them and could offer them a more suitable home than i can - i don't want them to go to someone who will keep them in a very small tank though if it can be helped.

Pick up only,
Jorel

Edit: They still need to go asap as i need the space

Hi,

Can't you just take these back to your LFS? Phone them and explain that things are working out and ask if you can return them.

Hope this helps,
Leanne

Already tried :( i will try again though when im next in there if no one can offer them a home

If you don't mind me asking....what exactly is the problem? If you can explain what the problem is someone might be able to give you a temp measure to give you time to re-home the fish.

They are attacking my guppies and minnows :( they left my fav one tail-less today, i have a spare 20 litre i can put them in but i think its too small for 3 so its catch 22

My friend said she would have them for her tropical tank which has no other fish in, but its been a week and she still hasnt sorted it out and told me to put a towel in the tank to seperate them. I told her if she didnt hurry i would have to find a home elsewhere for them because i do not want to loose the rest of my fish.

Truck is right as a "quick" temperary measure large Tupperware/glass bowls.

Post your problem on the Betta area of this forum.......I'm sure one of the nice people there will help you ;)

Sorry just thought.....put the 2 females in the 20L and put the male in a large storage tub

Thankyou, i will but i do for temporary

went to the all the LFS they wont take them neither will any of the other ones

The male and the females shouldnt be in the same tank anyway, the two females will be fine in the 20L, the male will need to be on his own, even if its a large tub for now, with daily water changes to keep the water ok for him.

Im in wolvo, but have no where for them to go or I would help you out, sorry.
