 wow after moving the platys to a new 19ltr tank ( 2 fish ) because they were getting stressed in the main tank after giving birth and losing them all.
When cleaning the filter about 3 weeks ago i found 1 live fry in there, we put it into a breeder net in the small tank it is growing well, 4 days ago spotted 1 fry in the main tank on its own, transfered it to the net.
On sunday looked into the small tank and noticed lotd of fry swimming about, rescued about 18 and they are now happily swimming in the breeder net.
There is about 3 or 4 in the tank which are hiding in pebble caves and plants in the bottom.
Hope that we can keep these alive they are eating fry food, don't know what to do with them when they grow, we have not enougth room. :S

Congrats on the fry
Although you should realy think about what to do with the fry before you let your fish have them; you should take into consideration that for most large batches of fry they can exceed 30+, so you should find posible homes for at least 30 fry before you have them.
You can try giving them away for free at your lfs although they may not even take them in case of the posibility they have desease even if your fry don't.
Maybe you should consider just having all male livebearer groups in the future if you cannot afford the space and homes for fry.
