Hi all! :)

About six years ago I bought two baby ghost koi for a cold water tank I had. They soon outgrew this tank, so we gave them to a friend who has an awesome 1500 gallon koi pond. Tragically, this pond is about to be broken down due to subsidence damage, and our friend (who is a pensioner) is not planning to rebuild :( They plan to donate their impressive collection of koi locally...but I still want access to my two!

Now, another friend has an 800 gallon pond being set up (four foot deep at the deepest end). Will our (now two foot long) ghosts be ok in a pond this size? If not, I am quite sure their current owners will see them to a good home, they intend to visit any prospective homes (and rightly so!)

Any opinions/advice appreciated. Thank you in advance! :)

Probably something along the lines of herons, cormarants, other fishy eating birds, cats, racoons, foxes.... Aliens. I'd assume something ate them?
