29 Gallon Tank Stocking!

I have a 29 gallon tank, Looking for some ideas on what to stock it with, Im needing some hardy fish to start out.. The substrate is sand.

I looked into dwarf cichlids for mine. Keyholes and Festiviums? are my favorite fish at the moment but not sure if they are actually suitable for a 29G

try some black widow tetras there a good hardy started

I started with Rosy bards in mine. They are super active and colorful. I now have Kribs in with them as well as a rubberlip plec.

Tell me you're not doing a fish-in cycle.

plattys come in all colors, and are very hardy, and have a decent personality as well. but you do need to cycle your tank first before putting fish in!

Im going to do a fishless cycle, I am wanting some shoaling fish, cory's and some kind of center-peice fish.

What about some bigger fish? Angles?? Im wanting some bigger fish and some cory's for the bottom.
