I have one cycled and one (fishlessly) cycling tank that I would like to gradually stock over the next few months. Please let me know if these stocking ideas are feasible.

29 gallon
4 Boesemani Rainbowfish
6 Endler's Livebearers
1 Bulldog Pleco (current resident)
4 Amano Shrimp

35 gallon hexagonal
2 Angels
4 Cories
3 Ottos

The 35 seems fine but the 29 would be better off with some other kind of rainbowfish or a different fish altogether. Rainbows are realy schooling fish and should be in as large a group as possible. Otherwise they can become nervous or shy. Boesmanis are somwhat too big to keep in a large group in this size tank so I would suggest you switch to some other kind of rainbow - dwarf neon/blue (melanotaenia praecox), thread-fins, celebes and other small-growing rainbows in a gorup of 6-8 (all the same species). Also, hexagonal tanks don't offer as much horizontal swimming space so it makes sense to stick to smaller fish that don't need the room as much as their larger counterparts.
