I have just set up my new aquarium and completed my nitrogen cycle within 4 weeks. Currently I have 5 zebra danios and 2 peppered corys. I am going to add some more fish over the next few weeks and wondered if my following suggestions would be alright for my tank.

6 Neon Tetras,
2 more corys,
1 dwarf gourami,
maybe 2 blu rams.

Hello,
welcome to TFF.
The only issue i see with your stocking list is the neon's, you really want your tank/filter to mature for at least 6 months.
I believe this is to do with over breeding, i'm sure one of the more experienced members will fully explain.

Skins.

I would sikip the neons and blue rams for now... if you want try some bolivian rams, supposedly more vercatile

I think you are on the right track hezza. You are the one in the best position to judge the maturity of your bacterial colonies and apply that information to your fish stocking. I will give you a bit of a caveat though. I find that I always stock fish at a lower value than "standard" stocking levels would advise. The end result has been, at least for me, that my fish always thrive and there is never any reason to question any of the events leading up to my fish stocking decisions.
If you insist on stocking a new tank to the maximum amount that anyone might support, be very attentive to the water chemistry for the next few days. If you are a bit anal about your water for a few days after a new stocking, you will find that you are maintaining a healthy environment for your new fish.
