hey i have a 10g tank and i put a cory in which dies but i think it was cus it was a new tank what cud u recommend me i need a fish which will clean my tank

2nd question how can you tell if a guppy is gona give birth soon?thnx

the tank has been up and running for about 4 weeks now but there was fish in it before but we started from scratch and has been running for a month the temp is about 28degrees

standard plecos are good for cleaning and are very hardy fish. You could also try some catfish. Din't know about 2nd q.

bristle nose plecs are very good cleaners and dont get to big

To answer your second question, You will see a large gravid spot and a large belly like so

In a 10g, you'll have limited options. What are you looking for them to clean? Algae? No fish will eat waste or anything, that's your job to clean.

Females have gravid spots all the time, it's where their eggs and sperm and reproductive organs are. However, it will get darker and they will get larger when they are pregnant. They are almost always pregnant though, especially if you have a male around!
