My two female siamese fighters dont get along at all, I thought that the males are the aggressive ones... They continue to chase each other and generally they have ripped fins... i thought of seperating the both of them which is an easy solution... or i may just use the both of them as feeders to my oscar or turtle... but i probably wait til i move my oscar to a larger tank and use the other tank as a community... any suggestions???

Why not separate them? Seems like the easy solution to me too! Don't feed em to your other guys, that's a waste of moolah and pretty ladies! :X

I agree with juliethegr8t. My female bettas have been great personalities (and some of them even more aggressive than some males), feeding them to others would be such a waste. Just separate them.

By the way juliethegr8t, only now noticed the line about cherry barb eggs in your sig, congratulations! :)

Oh my  Please don't feed your little ladies to your oscar!! I've tried on a couple of occasions to put female bettas together, as I was told it's quite easy to do. WRONG!! Mine were wayyy nasty. One of them literally ripped another apart, fatally wounding her within seconds of being introduced. I only have one female betta who's mild natured enough to be in with other fish; my other females are in divided tanks with males and do much better this way. I must say though, please don't give up on them without at least trying them in separate quarters. I think my females have far more personality than my males, and under proper conditions, are extremely colourful and beautiful, too.

Thanks!! Didn't have a ton of success since this was the first spawn, but I've got 3 fry right now - yippee! So excited, these guys are supposed to be hard to breed. :D

Well firstly i would like to say bettas are bettas. They are aggressive fish and all off them will chase each other their whole lives like most animals do that live in groups (pecking order) this usually doesn't bring serious unless 2 male bettas. Either all my bettas chase each, occasionally they lost a bit of a fin or one gets torn but they never die. You can seperate them if you wish ;)
