Using limestone in filter with ph around 7.7-7.9 hardness around 13-14
No deaths in last 10 days.

Caytfish are biggest in tank atm. Git them at 3" or so and cichlids were 1.5-2"
I do have more rocks to add too.

Love cichlids but they are frustrating to keep.

Large tank lots of cave tunnels and still frustration.
It will get better I know

Don't give up.... I've had my share of frustrations, but its always worth it in the end.

Hello just a quick update.
 
No deaths since last update that i know of.
 
One of my jalo afra's is claiming dominant male of tank and is coloring up very nice. (try get pic soon) bugger is fast.
 
Cuckoos still my favorite of tank all five do dances all over tank and feed upside down and scavenge  rocks for loose food.
 
 
Started a 3rd tank also. 36 bowfront co2 planted w/opaline gourami and 3 platies
