I know that you need to have 6+ in a group but do you need more females than males or do you need the same amount of each sex or more males that females or does it not matter from Tom

just have them in a group of 6, you can only tell which are which when they breed, until then i believe identifying the sex is very hard to do, or near impossible. the number of males to female i believe shouldn't matter as the female will pick who to spawn with. not an expert but i believe that is the case.

I was thinking of stocking my 110 litre with this and wanted to know if it's overstocked
4 platy
5 honey gourami
2 apistogramma cacatuiodes
6 Cory's
8 five banded barbs

Hope you can help with my stocking from Tom

Current size it may look fine. However, honey gourami will grow to 4"-5" and the five banded 2"-3". If all the fish grow to their full size it will be overstocked. So eventually you'd want to change it around, or get a bigger tank.

Honey gourami do not grow nearly to the size you indicated... 2-3 inches, tops.

3 Honey Gourami
8 Five banded barbs
6 small cories
2 apistos...

Platies don't really go with these other fish in terms of their water parameter needs, etc.  I'd drop them and stick with the above.

When everything is fully grown do you think the tank could take

10 five banded barbs
5 honey gourami
6 panda or salt and pepper Cory's
2 apistogramma cactuiodes
