1 Golden Ram Left Out

Hey I have 5 Golden Rams, 4 getting along fine - i think we may even have a pair brewing! 'George and Mildred are very friendly'

But unfortunatly one of my little rams hasnt ventured from the corner of the tank is there a chance the others havent accepted him they seem very pleasent to each other but this guy has never swim or interacted with any of them or any other fish he just hides in the lowest corner of our tank all the time!

What could be causing him to do this all other fish seem fine and very lively stats are fine too.

let me guess hes darker than the others and showing lack of colour and vigour? if this is the case then yep the others may have paired up and this fish is the odd one out. id probably return the fish. he/she will be in for a beating if the other four pair off. if you have a ph at around 6.5 you can expect to see spawning im sure.

Yeh your right the little guy is much less colourful than the others - very pale compared to the others, im going to take him back he was from another shop so this may account for it too.

Thanks yes defo got a pair which im very happy about and ph sis around 6.5 so fingers crossed. Im obessed keep checing 'Mildred' to see if her little red belly is getting bigger

Anyone know where i can view pics on line of pregnant rams just so i can monitor her apperance!!?

What sort of behaviour changes should i look out for in my golden ram if she does become pregnant will there will any tell tale signs? will her behaviour be differernt??
cant find any info on the net about them at all
