I have a ph of 7 in my tank and all my fish are temperature and ph compatible.

    36gallon bowfront stocking

I used bacterial starter that even stated that it allowed for the instant addition of fish but I waited 2 days after I added it to get some fish and I didn't add the fish all at once. Thanks for your concern though and Happy Fish Keeping to you as well

    36gallon bowfront stocking

Also my BST seem very well tempered, they haven’t nipped at the other fish from what I have seen and I have seen other accounts on other websites saying black skirt tetras work with angelfish. The tetras all swim around the tank and don’t school unless I have to put my hand in the tank to catch...

    36gallon bowfront stocking

Ok just to let you know I bought all the black skirt tetras my local pet store had at the time. Because of the cold winter they have stopped getting a lot of their fish and I think your right about the cherry barbs so I will stay clear of those.

New to fishkeeping - current stocking of 10 gallon tank!

Welcome to the forum, I would have at least 4 Cory’s. And everything else looks good. Keep up the good work

HELP!!! I'm having betta trouble and I need help asap!! (this is really long but full of detail sorry)

Where did you get your Betta from? He might have been ill when you bought him. But I would try changing the water and let him do his own thing for a few hours and then check on him and don’t be afraid to buy the right medication or chemicals if he dose have fin rot.

    36gallon bowfront stocking

So I got a 36 gallon for Christmas. I have cycled it and have an Aquaclear 50 and a fluval 150 watt heater running on it. I currently have 5 black skirt tetras, 1 dwarf gourami, and 4 creamsicle mollies. I am planning on getting 2 angelfish ( probably both male), a school of 8 sterbai corys...

    20 gallon stocking ideas

I can’t find the ph but I found out that my water hardness is 4. It would probably be a 20 high but I haven’t set anything up yet so a 20 long is a possibility and i was talking about celestial pearl danios if that changes anything. Because what I found online states that a 10 gallon is the...

    20 gallon stocking ideas

    The old 1.5 Gal.....

No I don’t think guppies would work they get decently large, and neons need to school I wouldn’t buy less than 6 of them so I also don’t think you could put 6 neons in a 1.5 gallon. if you wanted to keep guppies and neons together I think maybe 2-3 guppies and 6 neons in a 10 gallon would work

    Panda Corey’s in a 10 gal

Admit Byron you have no evidence to back up your claim, you just say so and so will agree with you.

    Panda Corey’s in a 10 gal

Byron we just have different views on the recommended amount of corys and that is ok let’s just stop arguing. I get that you think your right but from what I have seen you just say that I am misinformed and then say I am a bad aquarist. If you could link me to that study then we could learn from...

    Panda Corey’s in a 10 gal

Byron I don’t intend to keep arguing with you but if you continue to argue with me I will. Corydoras school in the wild to protect themselves from bigger fish, if there are no bigger fish in the aquarium to threaten them they do not need to school in large numbers and the rule of 6 Corys as a...

    A stocking question

I think you could add a couple cherry barns and congrats on winning tank of the month @Guppylover3x

    Panda Corey’s in a 10 gal

Byron so far in all of your arguments you have given zero sources to back up your argument, so that gives you no right for you to tell me I am in the wrong hobby, secondly the question we are answering is for a 10 gallon tank. 6 cories and whatever else he/she wants to keep would heavily...

    Panda Corey’s in a 10 gal

I am not arguing either but some people don’t have enough tank size to keep 6 cories although that is probably what is best I think 3-4 is good minimum for people who can’t keep 6-7 for whatever reason, thank you for your contribution to this topic. not

    Panda Corey’s in a 10 gal
