What algae is this, and what is my best course of action?
Thanks for all that, I donāt use any fertiliser in my tanks so I donāt think it will be that, so I imagine it has to be the light, as I have been leaving the curtains in my room open more, Iāll keep them closed and see how it goes. Fingers crossed I can get on top of it and stop it growing more...- cambojnr

Il Iāll try the decreased lighting and water changes first and see if it slows down the growth, I think Iāve had it in the tank before just not as noticeable, as a few months ago I upped the lighting from 5 to 8 hours as I was having brown algae problems, now the to much light might be causing...- cambojnr

Well Iāve cut my light to 4 hours, so Iāll maybe do some bigger water changes, and try increase surface agitation for gas exchange. Iāve been looking it up since colin identified it a BBA, and apparently flourish excel work with spot treating it, so Iāll look it to any store that might have that.- cambojnr

What algae is this, and what is my best course of action?
tank is 300l, ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate 10ppm, I do a 100L water change every week, lighting is a aqua one tropicGlo 37W that is on 8 hours a day, Iāve just decreased it to 4. What are your recommendations? as I am awful at identifying algae, thanks.- cambojnr

Bristlenose in trouble

New 125L Set Up
Been a while since I have been on here, but I have escaped this tank and added new stock as the other fish are now in the larger tank. Currently has 17 cardinals and 6 bronze corys will probably add some blue our bolivian ram in a few weeks our maybe a bristlenose.- cambojnr

Angle Fish Spawning, But I Don't Want The Eggs
So with in the last hour our so a pair from my 6 Angels have started breeding and have laid a load of eggs on my driftwood I the middle of the tank, and become very aggresive towards my other fish. Rummynose Tetra Can't Stay Upright
Another is starting to show symptoms but not as bad yet, so am doing a 100l water change and gonna fast them for a few days as they would not eat the peas I tried to feed them, but the corys loved them.- cambojnr

I haven't been able to find clove oil. So I just have to decapitate them, only ever has to do it to tetras though.- cambojnr
