the lfs at the mall told me this is a freshwater lobster. Is it? Googling for ID, it appears to be a yabby (Cherax destructor).

One of my tiger barbs has nipped tail fins, not too bad, still swims but with a little difficulty. Will the nipped tail fins grow back?
I don't think so, their scales are well in place, not sticking out. Definitely very pregnant, they had frys about a month.
They didn't look ill at all. Just one morning, in each case, I found them dead on their side at the bottom of the tank.
