Plants To Be Banned In Uk.

I read this with interest as it "might" include several plants I have routinely used, mostly in breeding tanks.   http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-21232108   I don't yet know if this is species specific, or more general, warrants further investigation.

    New Species.

Have a look at this and click on both of the film clips. The Hemiodus species is very nice. If it travels, (big if), it has a future in the trade, although all Hemiodus are fiddly to keep and incoragable jumpers. Can't see the parasitic catfish becoming a favourite any time soon.

    General Chat

I have, again, had to remove a number of "General Chat" type threads from this board following reports. This forum is not a surrogate "General" board. Please keep it on topic, or it's future will be reviewed.

    Ashes Test Commentary.

When a test match is held in England, the BBC's "Test Match Special" webcasts the live commentary and I can listen to it hear. For the Ashes series, they will be webcasting, but only to users in the UK. Does anyone in Australia know who is carrying the Ashes tests so I can listen in? I've looked...

I don't normally post in coldwater and ponds, but I have some bad news. Wine Boxes - BIB.

Until recently, I bought wine in bottles. Earlier this year, a reasonable Australian wine I buy appeared also in a "Bag in Box", (a BIB), at a substantial discount. So I bought one. It was very good, I have now bought several of these things and the quality of the wine is very good. Curious as...
