    Suggestions For My Tank

Idk the legality of it but many species of piranha will fit in there.

    Need A Nice Large Fish

Well a fire eel, black ghost, and a lima shovelnose will all outgrow that tank. A severum might be nice. It was my centre piece fish in my 80g.

Have You Ever Bought An Impulse Aquatic Buy & Live To Regret It?

I bought sw leaf fish (I think thats what its called, latin name is Taenianotus triacanthus) on impulse. I went into the lfs looking for something interesting for my then empty tank. I saw it and had done a bit of research on frogfish and figured they should have fairly similar needs. Prior to...

    Cool Ideas For A 2.5G?

Well youre certainly right about it not being the easiest way but if you have a decent amount of fw experience you should be ok. You could have an invert and/or mushroom tank. A very small fish might work but I wouldn't really suggest it.

What's The Hardest Lesson You Learned?

Floating bags in a tank with a piranha. Came back about 30 min later to find holes bitten in both bags, no fish or shrimp left in the bags, and a very fat piranha. Another one would be doing a drip acclimation with sw for fw fish. I still do not know how I did that one. I had some sw and fw...

    The Bowfin

I think you may want to try your own advice. I'm not trying to be rude myself, but bae's reaction i think was completely acceptable and the way you responded was, well, pretty rude. And btw your picture isn't working for me.

What Do You Feed Your Oscar?

2-3 days is fine without food. I'd say up to a week or so is perfectly acceptable

What Do You Feed Your Oscar?

How long will you be gone? Unless its a very long time the oscar will be fine with no food. Idk about the pleco. I know when jd's grow they can be very mean but I'd think it should be ok, plecs are tough fish.

What Do You Feed Your Oscar?

Well beyond the possibility of disease being introduced to the tank, no.

What Do You Feed Your Oscar?

^^^ Seconded. Don't use feeders (rosy reds, goldfish, other cyprinids) to feed any fish. If you must feed live fish, which you don't, breed your own guppies or other fish without thiaminase.

    What Fish To Get?

To be safe I'd take care of it. Drain the tank 3/4 of the way and CAREFULLY slide it. Don't slosh it too much, that's what can break a tank.

Idk, I've never done anything like that. Try and search

    What Fish To Get?

Got em. It looks pretty nice, I'd probably add more wood and as the rbp's get bigger, remove some of the plants. I can't really tell but it looks like the left side of the tank is hanging slightly off the stand. I would recommend taking care of that if it really is off Oh, and some floating...

    What Fish To Get?

You can upload it to a photo sharing site then insert the url. There is or used to be a way to upload it directly from your computer but I don't remember how to do that.

    What Fish To Get?

Cool, 5 rbp's should work out nicely, I'm guessing you'll wind up with 3-4 fish. Yeah, growing fish from babies to adults are always fun, especially with large oddballs or preds (for me anyways). And no problem, that's what these forums are for. Do you have any pics of the tank?
