    I thought that was cheap ... because the 75 gallon tank just by itself is about $300 ... everything added is about $1100. The main contributors are the canopy and stand. And of course the shipping ... a whopping $400. But before i get the tank i still have a lot of research to do :rolleyes...

    Question: What "exactly" is a filter feeder? Does it just mean u dont need to feed it ... because it eats "stuff" from the filer, or tank??

    K Well i got my parents convinced enough to let me put the tank in the basement .. which means I can actually look into a 75 gallon. I've also heard its much easier to care for a 75 gallon. Anyways it doesnt change much ... back to research .... lol

    ya thats what i thought. the 10 gal wud be way to overstuffed. I think im just gonna stick with LR, macro algae and the equipment in 1 chamber and then returm pump in the 2nd chamber. K, ill give it a shot at the DIY ... it seems easy lol. I think ill pick up the 20 gal sometime this week...

    K so i started with the first thing on the list .. the sump. I was thinking for a 20 gallon maybe a 10 gallon sump?? Within that there would maybe be 2-3 chambers. 1st chamber = bioballs to break down ammonia into Nitrite. 2nd chamber = Sand (I think it needs to be deep ... how many inches...

    hey, ye i was actually looking at 2 of the 4 tanks from there. The 1st option (glass) 2nd option (glass) and the 3rd option (acrylic) were from the site. As far as picking up from shows nearby ... the nearest is 1 hr 50 min in PA which rly isnt to bad. Thx for the information ;)
