    Oh right ok, so doesnt matter if its pointing into the side so for instance an angel fish wouldnt struggle? Also yeah ive seen I can turn the flow right down, but didnt know if it was wise to turn it down to its lowest setting.

    Do you have the filter any sort of power? I've turned it down near the bottom and still seems to be pretty strong, do you have a picture of your setup I could look at to try sort mine. Thanks
