The silicon idea may work? I am unsure where the leak is as the water is simply appearing underneath but I guess if I empty it and just do every seam then it may work... I've managed to get an old glass (very small) tank off my mother inlaw so they should be fine in that for a couple of days...

Well, after 5 weeks with three Platys who were very happy went and bought 8 male Guppies, 4 yellow and 4 orange tailed. The Platys were instantly not impressed and have spent the last 9 days hiding. I think the Guppies are just too fast for them, even though they are half their size. Two days...
