hm interesting... so they dont have much impact on water conditions and aslong as you have food in there for them it really won't matter much? Not interested in breeding basically if it happens fine but im not going for it.

Currently i have a 24 G nano cube (jbj) 2 driftwood pieces and 4 plants (2 a. swords and 2 aniubus) with 4 head and taillight tetras my question is I am about to get some shrimp for the tank. How many do you think I can get in there? 4? 10? never had shrimp so not really sure how many is to many?

Currently just 4 head and tail light tetras I tried a search with that other nickname and still can't find anything as far as buying them. I guess this is a really rare shrimp... :( Anyway I bought 4 Japonica Amano Shrimp (hopefully thats not to many for a 24 gallon tank?)

well no real reason why just shrimp. I never owned my own fish tank I grew up with a couple via my dad but this is the first one im running on my own. hmm.. in that case I think I may give these a shot. I am looking for alittle more activity in the tank and this would be something new I never had shrimp before
