Well i went to my local Petco today just to look around as i usually do when there is nothing to do... well they have had this Hanging betta bowl on one of thier poles near the aquatics... the fish that was in it two weeks ago looked happy because it was bigger than the little tub that he was...
well he was in a 30 gal with three bettas a placatomus and catfish...he then killed a betta and the placatomus and i moved him to a 1 gallon where i took the pics... now he is in... i wanna say a five gallon...but i aint quite sure... here are some pics....
ok so I was under the impression that my stepgrandmother Gave me a Goldfish... untill he killed two of my fish and i realized that he was much bigger than the goldfish at the local petco.... now this fish is a male... i think because he has black spots on his side and he is about... 6-8 inches...
BAD IDEA!! I thought i could put a goldfish in with bettas... wrong combo... the goldfish i had did fine in the warmer water that was not the problem he Killed my betta! it was horrible... and then he killed my sucker fish so he is in his own tank now ...

the heating pad works when i had my first betta in a small tank i would put him on the heating pad at night b/c i keep my room colder at night than durning the day and it seemed to work amazingly well! but yeah and another thing that might help if you can get it buy a tank with a light ontop...

ok so tonight i came back from a trip and noticed my male had destroyed his old bubble nest and made a new one i figured while no one had been in my room he had taken advantage of not showing off... so i decided to take the divider out to see what my little female would do... i go down stairs...
