yeap...currently using this as a grow out tank. Just changed the water today. and after i was done, i noticed little white worms in the tank!how the hell did they get in there...are they posing a threat to my fish?

Stocking- 1 4inch arowana. Ammonia- 0mg/l nitrite-4mg/l nitrate-? (have not gotten a test kit for this yet) pH is about 6.8 Oh yea i've also added blackwater extract could it be due to this? Tank have been set up for about 3 weeks now. Surprisingly my fish seems stable and is feeding well...

hey guys ive been getting really high nitrite readings about 4mg/l this week. Ive been adding filter start to try help the problem including adding an extra powerhead for more DO. Tank is about 45g. however still no results Could the subtrate nutrients i have contributed to this problem?

thanks alot. Next step would probably be to add some rock slates at the back of the tank. need the roots of the grass to establish first. Ill post some new pics next week! Planting all the grass took me about 2 hours with one break inbetween. Back breaking work :/ I'll keep you guys updated

I didnt really catch the names of the grass. but i guess its some sort of hair grass.

My dwarf gouramis in my other tank picks on the leaves but you could tell he is just trying to find some scraps of food. they dont seem like the kind that would savage the plants :). Yea love them tetras.

hmmm what colour light do you guys think would be a good contrast to some natural coloured sand. i was kinda thinking along the lines of a bright white one
