Understood. I was looking online at the replacement filter media and thought I'd get a spare set at the same time but don't think it needs replacing that often.
I'm looking to purchase a Tetratec EX700 or EX600 in the next few days. After reading on here someone advised to remove the carbon filter media, why is this and to replace it with another type of filter. What additional filter should I put in if carbon removed?
