No I'm not on a duikforum. I don't dive :P. I only swim in the Ijsselmeer or the Northsea XD, or with my hands in my aquariums. Hopefully people are able to help you here if you can't figure it out, sadly I don't know much about saltwater fish, corals and all that.

I think there are a few parasites/bacteria that can be transferred via plants. But generally those are nasty illnesses fish could get, and they aren't very common. I think it's always safe to get plants who haven't been in others tanks just to be on the safe side.
