I have just got a new three cornered 175 litre tank, considerably bigger than my previous one. I've been told the best type of fish to keep in it are 'cichlids'. Can anyone give me any general advice, assistance or help. I am still a relative novice. Thanks in advance.

Thanks a lot folks. My mistake I actually have a 60 Litre (UK) tank. Got my water etc tested today, once again they stated that my PH (6.8), Nitrate (0.00ppm Basic), & Nitrite (0.00ppm Basic) are all fine. I think it's down to over population as I currently have 6 Neons 3 Guppy 2 Black Widow...
