They are pretty much compatible with any with (almost, there are a few exceptions) fish, as long as you have room. :)
And, guppies are compatible with goldfish. I’d say ask your LFS, or the forum, if you are planing a tank, And what to stock it with. :)

Oh, gotcha! I recommend trying to find sort of a darker color of noodle. You don’t want to have a great looking tank with bright orange...
