Kribs would do really well, if kept singly. If they spawn, they will be aggressive, but they are peaceful otherwise. They are the easiest dwaf cichlids to care for And really pretty!! :]]]

Kribs are not that aggressive as long as they are not spawning. Too keep it peaceful, you should add only one, but if you can see some action, you can get a pair. I woudn't get trio though.

Thanks verrry much for the reply!! i did research on shellies and they seemed pretty chill, but none of my local stores had them. i went and bought a pair of kribs, and they are wonderful! since mbunas grow to 5 in, i thought id be better off with kribs.. yayyy :]
