Gold Nugget Plecos grow to be about 7", yes? :D I don't believe I saw them on the list, but it's late and I'm tired, so forgive me if they are on there somewhere.

Personally I'd try him with the gourami, if you have given plenty of hiding spots and ample space, there shouldn't be any problems. I wouldn't try with the guppy, I did once and everything went great but I had a really peaceful betta and they had enough space to swim around in.

I have sucessfully kept bettas with harlequin rasboras, khuli loaches, neon tetras, corydoras catfish, platies, guppies, cherry barbs, and others, and I have heard of them being kept with: angelfish plecostamus cardinal tetras fiddler crabs (my friend has these and a betta in a 55 gallon) black...

Up the number of tetras, and consider giving the golden danio a friend but beyond that, I think you would be overstocked.

I was watching a movie yesterday and you know in the beginning it says up to a $250,000 fine for duplication of the movie, but that dude does that to a living animal and pays a tiny fraction of that? There is something wrong there.

I would only use it as a last resort, I once lost my whole tank of fish due to an algae bloom and me trying to get rid of it with chemicals. (Had no effect on the algae either :grr: )

You have a few options I would recommend for him: ~2 swordtails ~4 khuli loaches ~9 neon tetras ~2 fancy tailed guppies (male unless he wants lots of fry) ~4 cories ~9 harlequin rasboras ~2 German Blue Rams (not very hardy, but beautiful when their needs are met) ~3 long finned leopard...

I like the marble veil angelfish, they are beautiful and one of the more hardy species of angelfish. For tank mates you could go with some khuli loaches, they would great, and maybe some fancy tail guppies? I have kept guppies with juvenile angelfish with success, but the angelfish were...
