OK I added 10ml of Ammonia and just spotted a snail :angry: This is a reason why I started a new tank (and others) as I couldnt get rid of my trumpet snails - We will wait to see what this little fella grows into - I dont wash the plants :crazy: Its a fishless cycle and all the media is new...

This is not aimed at you dch but I love it when people say "seem to be happy" i.e they are still swimming around and not dead! Take the advice and do the water changes...keep the levels down
