mine is in my tank now, it was only a very small cutting but hopefully it will grow.

I added some to my tank a while ago, some of the ends of mine are brown but I thought that was just natural because when I looked at pics on the net alot of them showed browning. It was still spreading quite rapidly.

Ordered mine from GreenLine, says stock is limited so have to see if the order goes through ok. Heres the link: http://www.aquaticplants.eu.com/ I have the Nutrafin Yeast C02 system and I think my lighting is pretty good.

Thinking of growing some of this in my tank, read a lot of conflicting reviews of how difficult it is to grow. Anyone have any success growing this?

ok thanks, when you say individual specimens do you mean each individual strand? I was worried that if I take it out the basket then the grass might not stay in the substrate. Does it spread out quite quickly?

Im picking up some dwarf hair grass tonight and was wondering how I should plant it. Should I take it out of the basket and wool and spread it around or should I just plant it in the basket?

I have the tank lights setup on a timer for about 14 hours a day, dont have any other lights on in the room at all.

Wouldnt putting in a divider obstruct the flow of water from the filter? How do you heat and filter a tank that size Mom? I dont see them at night and when im at work but the tank is in my living room and I have been watching them a lot, and I haven't seen the platties approach the betta, they...

I dont have the option of putting him in a seperate tank, I only have room for the one. If he was unhappy wouldnt he become slow and inactive and not eat? He is feeding and He is very active swimming around but just on the side of the tank. I was wondering wether it might be a territorial thing...

The platties dont really take much notice of him, at first the betta would occaisonally flare up when one came too close but they would quickly move away from him so no harm done (no fin nipping). The guy in the store said they are fine in a community aslong as you dont get any fish that nip...
