Well I came home yesterday to find him not being able to swim or balance at all. So I had to put him to sleep (clove oil) :( . Is DGD that common?

DGD is Dwarf Gourami Disease. And I checked my ammonia which was 0. So I have no idea whatsoever what the problem is past it being DGD. Which is sad. I hate to euthanize the fish.

Well mine's still kicking after about week from the move. Who knows. I'm going to give him another pea tomorrow to see if that helps.

Had the fish for 5 or 6 months. Fed him a pea the other night but it didn't seem to help. Doesn't seem to be in any pain but he still has the balance issue.

It's like he is just having a balance issue. When he gets swept by the current he will easily swim to a better area of the tank but he will still float around upside down like he doesn't have control of it. The ammonia level was ideal and the rest of the tests were still the same today.

I'll run to the store and get a test for that today. I'll let you know if anything changes! Thanks! :)

Don't have the ammonia #'s but I think they are ok. I'll have to test them later or tomorrow. The other numbers are: GH: 60-120 KH: 80-120 pH: 6.5 NO2: 0 NO3: 40
