she does look a little swollen compared to how they usually are, and if she has been paired off with a male for a while then it is likely. however i wouldnt put her into a breeding box or net for a while yet as you arent sure and may just stress her. monitor the situation as she will get alot...

its possible that your shark could of attacked him due to territoral issues. i had the sam sort of issue in my tank. i had catfish and gouramis together for months and they were fine, however when i introduced two more cat fish the gouramis began to attack them and the other fish too. Strange!

i had a blue gurami that did just the same thing. i had to sell it back to the pet shop as it was stressing all the others.

i have an orange fantail molly who i believe is pregnant. i am just wondering what behaviours they usually portray, as she seems to be sitting on the gravel more than swimming. is this normal? also, how long are they usually pregnant for? thank you :)
