I'm fine with using frozen, but I would prefer using freeze dried. Would freeze dried work, or do they like frozen better? Also, how often do I feed them?

Oh, they're wild minnows, but that would still apply. Also, I monitor the levels of ammonia and other things, and I have a filter and a pump. If they were 1-2 inches at full size, how many should I have in my tank? By the way, I might be posting a picture of them soon on here so I can get...

Are you sure? I've had mine for about 8 months, and they're all still about 1 inch. Anyone else want to share what you think?

I wish. That would be awesome :drool: Alright, thanks. I've come to the conclusion that I'll buy the store minnows, keep them in a quarantine tank (I suppose that's what it would be called) for the first couple days. After that, if they look okay, I'll go ahead and add them in with the tank...

What I'm worried about is the wild minnows being immune to a disease the store bought minnows aren't and vice versa. What should I do in that case? (Oh yeah, this isn't important, but the minnows I have right now are the wild minnows and the ones that I'm planning to add are the store minnows.)

I was just wondering if there was some way to test an aquarium for diseases? Maybe something like a water testing kit, except for diseases?
