We have had the Denisoni's for 5 days, they seem to be more active than ever today I hope that will increase their appetite. Actually they were from a display tank in a shop so they were probably very happy where they were so no wonder they are rather unsettled.
Thanks for the help.
Cheers Mike
I dont know the exact dimensions I think it has a capacity of approx 250 litres. The size of the tank is not an issue at the moment, as I mentioned we are planning to increase the tank size as the fish grow, I am very aware of the potential size the Bala Sharks, Plec and Denisoni can reach...
Tank is 4ft Juwel curved front with external Fluval filter (Internal Juwel filter removed)
1 x 5inch Sail fin Plec
3 x 3 inch Bala sharks
1x 3 inch Ruby Shark
2 x 2 inch Fire mouths
1 x Bumblebee catfish
4x neon tetra
1x Bamboo Shrimp
1x 2.5 inch False Flying Fox
5x Zebra Danios
3 x 4-5 inch...
I have tried tropical fish flake, tubifex worms, bloodworms (frozen), micro flakes. they seem a bit brighter today more adventurous and not so bothered by the Ruby Shark so maybe they will eat later today when I feed them?
Regards Mike
I have recently bought 3 Denisoni Barbs approx 4-5 inches long, apart from the initial harasment from our Ruby Shark who is much smaller than the Denisoni's they seem quite happy. The only problem is they do not seem to be eating. Does anyone know what their prefered food is?
Cheers Mike
