I am new to the planted aquarium experience. I have a ten gallon tank two "Coralife Mini Compact Flourescent Colormax" lights each 10 watts. However, I have a plastic shield protecting the lights from getting wet. Is this ok or do i need direct light? I forgot to ask the people at the fish...
