Wow these peas really do work! He's looking well again (touch wood).. Should I give him some normal bottom feed along side the peas?? :thanks: for the info

They worked!! Fish is looking a lot better now :D thanks everyone for the help.. his tail is still a little bent though but only when he rests, not when swimming.

Well its too late now :/ , I have fed him some cooked green peas (tinned) with no skins.. Hes started to be more on his side now, I dont know if this is better or worse? How long can goldfish last in this state? Will he come round?

Ok so what should I do..(he seems to be balancing a lot better now) How much is the correct amount to feed? Should I still change to a bottom feed? How come when buying a goldfish they generally seem to sell you the flakes.. Thanks for the info everyone!!

Yeh I feed him flakes.. Its a gold fish.. 1) Tank is just over a foot by 3/4 of a foot. 2) I do have a filter, not sure whats its called..it came with the tank i bought. Which is a Tetra tank 3) No tank mates, his buddy died a long while ago :( 4) As said i feed him flakes once a day..about a...
