yup hes acclimating. The white slime you might see on him I have had on my angels when I purchased them and I believe its from the dirty water at pet store. That will go away with time.

Well congratulations!!! If you saw one..there may be more....are there other fish in the tank? If so, someone may be munching them down. If not, then maybe the parents are hiding them. Try to see, without disturbing the tank, if there are any more.
I would also recommend tank raised discus vs wild discus to start out with. Tank raised discus tend to be more hardy then their wild counterparts, and less timid. On the other hand, tank raised discus also have a tendency to breed when the conditions are right versus a wild strain fish that is...
