have you tried " bridgewater garden centre" there based in nottingham if i remember or very close by they deal with marine/tropical fish, goldfish & theyre a garden centre too just a thought

I prefere sand too, i think after keeping marine fish, sand to me looked nicer in the tanks :)

Nice pictures, thanks for sharing "who's the Daddy of my tank" would be my pleco he's about 1 inch long, but barges past the rest of the fish to hoover up in the tank ( he's so house proud) LOL

LOL annka5, i normally use a tape measure, but i wanted to make sure how a tank would look & the only thing i could think of was using boxes, it gives you a good idea if its going to be over powering for the room, i made the mistake of buying too small in the past
