Getting Blueberry Shrimp And Red Cherries. Keep Them Together Ofr Not

You will get a mixture of colours from the offspring. They won't necessarily revert back to their wild colour. Wild cherry shrimp are not red at all. They tend to be a bit on the greenish brown side. The red has been bred into them selectively. When you breed cherry shrimp, you get more cherry...

    Moss Balls

I'm not sure, I've never tried it. I know it sticks to my gravel so I would think it would stick to drift wood too? You could always give it a go and see what happens.

Welp, I Guess This Is An Emergency..

I've only ever treated ich with high temp...but I didn't have a bad outbreak, it was only a few spots on the occasional fish. I would think that you can keep the water clean and still do what you are doing, you would just have to add the salt back with each water change?

    Moss Balls

They don't require too much care or lighting. You can order them online or get them at the big chain pet stores usually. The sell for about $5-7 each and are usually the size of a golf ball when you get them. They need to be turned about once a month or two or they stick to the substrate and try...

But keeping the water clean will prevent secondary infection from happening.

    Thinking On Buy Shrimp

Neocaridina Heteropoda are probably the most colourful shrimp you can get without having to pay a lot for them. The Cherry shrimp of this type are sold for about $3.00 each. They are easy to breed and you can also breed them into other colours. I have blue, plum, brown, orange, yellow, green and...

Welp, I Guess This Is An Emergency..

Keeping the water clean would be what I would do. I always opt for the daily 25% water changes for at least a week when I feel like something sketchy is on the horizon. I have never used salt to medicate so I cannot comment on it other than it's not good for scaleless fish like catfish. Best...

Getting Blueberry Shrimp And Red Cherries. Keep Them Together Ofr Not

To answer your question, you would first have to find out the proper names of the shrimp. Dwarf Cherry shrimp are usually neocaridina heteropoda. If your "blueberry" shrimp are also neocaridina heterpoda, they will interbreed with each other. The likely result will be varying colours of purple...

    Need To Say Something

For the record Micko, I don't think I've ever seen you post anything rude. I think you are more of a "tell it like it is" kind of guy which I think is good. Sometimes people are also overly sensitive and can't handle the truth.

    Need To Say Something

Considering this forum has members from all over the world, the way people respond and act on here is going to be varied. It's also very hard to make a joke on here because it may either come off as a joke or as something cruel sounding. Sometimes people get frustrated when they read a comment...

    Red Tailed Catfish

I wouldn't want to keep one. They get over 4 feet long so I can only imagine the size of tank and amount of food required to keep one of them healthy. I'm afraid if someone actually has pics of one in a tank  .... unless the tank is like over 1000 gallons.
