i have a small divider but should i move the male to the 10 gal tank?

because i want the female to get used to the 1.5 gal tank so she wont be extra stressed out when she's close to giving birth and i have to move her in there, its better if i put them both in and then take the male out when shes ready to drop.

i have another 10 gal tank...

2 weeks ago. she also seems to poke along the edges of the tank and she is pooing just now...

do you think she might be close to birth thats why she's hiding all the time?

its not like she cant swim, she swims fine but 80% of the time shes hiding and not movin in the plants.

i already did 20% water change today as there is some brown algae on the gravel. btw the tank has an undergravel filter and it has lots of poop&leftover food under it. i cant just dump all the water out to clean it so i'm doing 20% water change everyday.
