I was just wondering how many people here have black backgrounds for their tanks? If you do, did you paint them? Can you possible post pics so i can get an idea as to what it might look like? Im thinking about painting mine, but i dont want to ruin it and im feeling a bit nervous about going...

The front one in the 2nd pic IS a female Swordtail, i have 2 just like her. The white and black one though im not so sure, dont know much about Mollies and Platys

Thanks! I dont know if these are too small but i like the Danio Margaritatus. Would they be ok in the big tank? Can the Male Betta not stay in the small tank with the Rams, Gouramis and Phantom Tetras?

Oh really? Cool....one of them has a dodgy eye, the biggest of the group. Looks like it has Cataracts or something.... I wasnt planning on keeping any of these fish...would my lfs take them do you reckon? Oh, and is the yellow one definately a chinese algae eater?

So i collected my new "2nd hand" tank this evening. Turns out it is a 125L, not 90L so that makes me happy! Anyway, the deal with the tank was i had to take the fish that were in it, so now i have some fish that dont really fit into my plans. Im not even sure what most of them are so i thought...

Thanks for all the tips! I shall look into switching fishes around. What Tetra would you suggest to go with the Apisto's in the new tank? Would it just be easier to rehome my female betta? Although i would hate to as she is really pretty....

My Pleco at the moment is only about 1.5 inches long, when he does get bigger i will move him. I am planning on getting bigger tanks in the future but where i am living at the moment it is impossible. I wasnt aware that Swordtails grew to 5 inches, and as you suggested perhaps i should have done...

Ok, i see your point. So i have 4 swordtail, 3 adults 1 fry, 4 honey gourami and 4 Black phantom tetra, what SHOULD the minimum number for these be? Other than that i have my betta and my pleco....

So what would you suggest? Which of my fish do you class as "large" fish??

Sorry to highjack but i LOVE your tank Minnt! Where did you get the big branch you have? Back to original post, your tanks look good too! I would def add LOTS more plants in there! :)
