nope i have 5 fish now as i had dalmations and they died, i feed them once every other day

not long at all, few hours a day. i work full time so i cant leave it on for the time it should be on so i do it a few hours a day!

hey thanks for replies, i have gpt a gravel cleaner but still leaves it a mess, i cleaned it out on monday n by weds it was black and still is now, i thought maybe i can change gravel or get new gravel but wasnt sure....

Hello i have just got back, i went to a local fish shop and they tested my water. they said my ammonia was up and my nitrite was up which means my tank is dirty which is cauing my fish to die, so she adviced me to do water changes every other day and to clean the gravel while doing this. then to...

All i have been adding to water is water safe thats all i have been told to do. but i will do that next time i do a water change. i did a water change on friday but i didnt clean the filter out.

hey i havent brought them from pets at home but i was trying to explain the rating thing. i have been cleaning the sponges too so maybe thats y. i will leave that alone and just keep testing water! thank u

when i clean the filter out i dont put the water bk in tank i throw it so i am doing it wrong?

I get it from tap then treat it then wash it, thats the way ive been told to do it

Ok i will get one. i cleam my filter in water that is treated to be safe and use a brush to clean it with.

i havent done any tests since march, i had loads troubles with my tank when first set up, had to take water to be tested but then got the ok after about 2 months after setting it up and have had no problems since i added them fish in.

I know what u mean, i have been checking that and was all ok, i havent done it for a while but its just wierd how my fish have all of a sudden started dying since i put them 10 fish in! before that they were all happy etc. i have a interpet filter and heater. i will upload a pic now
