Ok Update! Tonight I did a massive water change. (I had planned this for a while.) i would like a snail but I only want one! Not a bunch!

You could keep trying. It's up to you. If you think he is improving then keep going, but if it's just getting worse. You might have to think about putting him out of his misery.
