hey, dow do you tell if a sunset platy is a female or male?

i've considered getting a canister filter for this tank but noise is a concern as this tank is right next to my bed...i've had a Marineland magnum 350 deluxe canister filter before and it was quite noisy...the aquaclear 70 currently on this tank is very quiet, as was the aquaclear 500 i used to...

i understand that my tank is overstocked and i am going to do my best to remedy that...but for the time being, i basically just wanted to know if two aquaclear 110's in a 55 gallon would create too much water movement for the fish i am currently raising...

yea, i have...i have a python water changing system...i do a 75% water change every week and vacuum the gravel during that time, but there is still a lot of waste produced by the middle of the week...it doesn't really affect the water quality much, but it is quite unsightly...i was thinking...

hey everyone...i have a 55 gallon, fairly overstocked, with a aquaclear 70... i'm thinking about upgrading the filtration to two aquaclear 110's...would that be overkill for a 55 gallon? i have an oscar, tiger barbs, tinfoil barbs, colombian tetras, bolivian rams, a convict, a featherfin...
