Hi Boots do sell ammonia, its in thier cleaning dept and called household ammonia and is a Boots brand product it comes in a 500ml plastic bottle for just a couple of quid. It lists just ammonia and water and works fine, I used it to cycle my Rio 180. alby

Hi just to let you know that the very next day the tank read zero ammonia and nitrite, so did a big water change waited a couple of days to be sure of levels and added fish who are all doing well. job done !
