Well today I got a test kit, and did some tests. These are the readings I got from my 1 week old aquarium stocked with 5 long finned zebra danios: Ph- 7.5 more or less Ammonia- between .5 and 1 Nitrite- 0 Are these ok readings? Should I do anything? :/ My tank is a week and and still cycling...

im cycling with zebra danios right now.... Ill have to get a water check tommorow...

yes it should be... the biowheel spins, and the filtered water comes out... I hope everythings fine...

Help! I just came back from a 2 day vacation, and my tank is extremely murky. I replaced 25% of the water just now, but should i have used filtered water? I used just plain tap water. It seems to be less murky, and I also vacuumed the gravel a bit. I put in stress zyme and stress coat, and...

Heres a picture of the water... Its really murky and I dont know why. Wasnt murky before. Also may it have something to do with the heater? It started getting murkier after I put the heater in.

Well too many people in real life reccomended danios, so I got long finned danios yesterday, and they seem to be doing fine. Except that the tanks got a lot murkier for some reason, ill take a pic and post it. Also one of the danios has a lot of yellow near his fins, but none of the others do...

Well I decided that my 10 gallon tank will be only for 6 danios, and later I will get a 20 gallon that will have many different fish. Thanks for the help everyone!

Oh and thanks willywonka, i might consider that too. But if i do that what will I cycle with. Anyways, I like mollies a lot and so does my mom, and bettas are nice too... used to have one myself. I also like cories a lot. -Alex :fun:

cycling? I dont know what you mean lol. I rinsed the gravel before I put it in and I put in stress coat and stress zyme. The water isnt murky and the bubbles that were on the sides arent there any more either. Can you explain further please? Thanks!
