Zebra Nirite Snail

Hi i got the snail today in the post and put him in the tank, this is the first snail i have had, hes not very active. and has not mooved alot, he mooves his shell upwards abit (very slight moovement) but doesnt go anywere, any help

Don't worry, he's just settling in. Snails are like that, I bought some assassin snails a while back and put them in my tanks. They laid there for days and I thought "what a waste of money!"

Looked in a few days later and one was sliding across the glass at an amazing pace! Since then I've seen all of them at various times, either merrily sliding or tucked up in the gravel.

The expression "snails pace" is a good one.

he went on the glass a while back but then went back on the gravel and been very still, he was in quite cold water when i got him, but he was wrapped in wool, and i put him straight in the tank, i guess it was quite a shock for him.
